    SageSure Insurance Managers is seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager for the CA territory. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a territory from the ground-up in support of our vision and commitment to expand and deliver a customer experience that makes SageSure our producers’ #1 choice for residential insurance in coastal states. He or she will have the opportunity to collaborate across the organization and impact the company's goals and objectives.     What you’ll be doing:


    • Develop a sales plan from the scratch
    • Actively track progress against targets and develop strategies for filling any gaps that arise
    • Increase overall sales and agency engagement through increased quote volume and close ratios
    • Provide market and customer feedback with the organization to ensure SageSure is responsive and capitalizes on opportunities to grow the business
    • Execute initiatives in coordination with marketing efforts to advance SageSure’s visibility and market position in state
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure territory success (e.g. underwriting, marketing, policy services)
    • Track and report against sales goals on a weekly basis
    • Perform 12 - 14 agency visits a week and submit detailed reports in SalesForce
    • Participate in in trade show and industry events


    We're looking for someone who:


    • Lives in the designated Territory, has reliable transportation, a clean driving record and the ability to travel on a regular basis
    • Has proven success in establishing and executing a production plan, exceeding new business sales goals and the ability to grow and manage a sales region
    • Possesses strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel; will be required to analyze large amounts of data and maneuver through complex reports
    • Works independently, able to assess workload and plan accordingly to meet competing deadlines


    Qualified candidates have:


    • A college degree or equivalent experience and education
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • 5 years' territory management, sales, agency or underwriting experience in the Property & Casualty field


    Highly Preferred candidates also have: 


    • An Agent license and/or professional designation 
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
